Turbaned Tales

A juicy travel memoir by Inder Raj Ahluwalia

Author : OurTeam

By his own admission, Inder Raj Ahluwalia is one of the most prolific travel writers in the world. Hes certainly gotten around, travelling to over 50 countries in a writing career spanning 35 years. On the way, he has lapped up a number of honours, including the Mark Twain Travel Journalism Award and the Gold Medal of Tourism from the French Ministry of Tourism. Therefore, its not surprising that he has many a juicy tale to tell. Ahluwalias second book (his first, published in 2012, was called Meet Me At The Border) is subtitled, All those exotic places, all those beautiful women, all those mistakes. You get the idea. Its a travel memoir drawn from a lifetime of travel, peppered with mildly titillating interludes, which may or may not be to your taste. But Ahluwalia certainly knows how to laugh at himself, and that, you cant help but admire.
