This year-end will see the island nation of Maldives welcome its first ever ice skating rink, thanks to Jumeirah Vittaveli. It will be launched just before Christmas, right in time, for guests to enjoy the festive season . The ice rink has been built in partnership with Glice, a company that manufactures artificial ice plates.Unlike anormal ice skating rink, a complex molecular technology makes Glice synthetic ice rinks function entirely without water and at a zero-energy level, in all climatic conditions
