Indian road signs &mdash stern, wise and always funny (by design as well as by accident)&mdashhave a formidable fan base. But it takes the unwavering enthusiasm of someone like Ajay Jain to pay proper tribute to this subtle and unsung art. Jain drove over 10,000 kilometres on Indian roads to produce Peep Peep Don&rsquot Sleep (Kunzum Rs 350), a surreal compendium of some of the most outrageous road signage out there. It&rsquos left us wondering, though &mdash aren&rsquot these bright, chirpy signs, surely meant to avert accidents, more than a bit distracting themselves You see, we can&rsquot keep our eyes on the road anymore.
