New UNESCO World Heritage Sites In Pictures Part 1

They are of "outstanding universal value", these sites that have made it to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The Unesco's World Heritage Committee, for it's 43rd meet, met in Baku, Azerbaijan and gave us 29 new sites. Here are, in pictures, 15 of these "new" old sites that have stood the test of time.

Budj Bim Cultural Landscape in Australia
The site, created by the indigenous community of Gunditjmara in Australia, some 6,600 years ago, is one of the world's oldest freshwater aquaculture systems. Budj Bim continues to be a popular site for eel trapping.
