Le Jardin Botanique in Puducherry

Do visit the renovated Botanical Garden of Puducherry, which is reopening after almost a year. Le Jardin Botanique was established in 1826 by French botanist George Samuel Perrottet. The 22-acre garden has 175 species of trees and other plants. You can enjoy a sweeping view of the garden from the viewing deck. There will be a shrub bed, a Japanese garden, a rock garden, pathways and inner jogging track, a restaurant and a gazebo.
