In an attempt to boost tourism in the region, Hong Kong is now offering 5,00,000 airline tickets for free, worth USD 254.8 million (Rs 2,09,12,32,05,677 approximately) to travellers. Hong Kong has already removed most of the Covid-19 travel restrictions, and airlines are finding ways to restore their flights. Keeping this latest development in mind, here are five offbeat things you should do in Hong Kong to make your trip more fun and adventurous.
Hike On The Olympic Trail
The Olympic Trail goes across Lantau Island from Tung Chung to Mui Wo. The scenic route offers a picturesque view of the sea, wildlife, and mountains. The course also features various Chinese tombs. The long, winding road is also a popular biking destination.
Explore Islands On A Boat
A boat is one way to escape the hustle and bustle of busy city life. Hop on a boat and explore different regions like Lamma Island, Lantau Island, and Cheung Chau Island. You can go camping and surfing too.
