How often have you finished watching a movie or web series and wished to visit the fictional places depicted in them Probably a hundred times, for it's human nature to wish and aspire for the unattainable. Thus, we bring you a list of five fictional places that the travel lover in you wishes to be true.

Hogwarts and Hogsmeade

It is impossible to finish reading a Harry Potter novel without feeling a strong urge to travel to Hogwarts. It doesn't even matter if evil wizards frequently pose a threat to the institution. We eagerly anticipate drinking butterbeer at The Three Broomsticks, curling up by the fire in The Gryffindor Common Room, and eating treacle tart in The Great Hall.

The Emerald City
Visiting Emerald City might be worthwhile. It sounds like the most fun you can have in Oz without getting in trouble with a witch or her winged monkeys, and you even get to wear those green-tinted glasses. Additionally, the Emerald City seems like a location with modern eateries and running water, in contrast to the other fantasy settings in the classic kids' book.

Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory

It would be worth slipping into quintessential capitalist, aka Willy Wonka's chocolate river, to visit the iconic chocolate factory and experience his authentic sugary treats. Additionally, you might be allowed to operate the establishment if you make it through the tour.

The Shire

The Shire, a place from J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth (described in The Lord of the Rings and other works), is notable for being the home of the Hobbits and Frodo Baggins. The iconic homes in this lush green area are known for their intricate layouts and perfectly round entrances. Fortunately for the countless Lord of the Rings enthusiasts, the actual filming locations are still in New Zealand and welcome thousands of visitors each year on tours. There are also a few motels close to the filming locations where guests can spend the night in a Hobbit hole.

Neverland
Ironically, as Peter Pan's followers mature and go past children's literature, Neverland is frequently forgotten. But every adult occasionally wishes they could return to their childhood and hang out with the Lost Boys. After all, who wouldn't want to face Captain Hook in an alliance with Peter Pan and Tinkerbell
