The railway line to the Roof of the World has been likened to &ldquothe second invasion of Tibet&rdquo. And if you&rsquove ever peered into soulful Tibetan eyes in Dharamsala or watched the Dalai Lama lead a meditation session or even just read accounts of Tibetans braving midwinter snows to undertake a perilous trans-Himalayan journey by foot into India, you can&rsquot not see the railway as a conveyor belt of cultural imperialism.
