Shada Palace

Shada Palace, located in the city of Abha in Saudi Arabia, was built in 1348 AH (1927 AD) and served as the heart of Abha for a significant period. The palace is notable for its unique rocky architectural style, which narrows as it rises to the upper levels. It showcases features of local architecture and has been restored and transformed into a museum consisting of four floors that display various old household items, agricultural tools, weapons, uniforms, as well as manuscripts and coins.

Shamsan Ottoman Castle

At the Shamsan Ottoman Castle in the Aseer Province, visitors can explore a beautifully restored historical landmark and immerse themselves in the region's rich cultural heritage. Visitors can join workshops to learn about this art form and purchase items featuring unique Al-Qatt motifs. Discover the symbolic meanings behind the designs, reflecting local values, and witness the skill of Aseer’s women as they create natural colors to beautify their homes.

Timings: The Al-Qatt Al-Aseeri Museum (Fatimah Museum) is open daily from 11 AM to 8 PM, with the exception of Fridays when it opens at 3 PM. There are no tickets required for entry.
