Mandi Shivratri celebrations unfold in the quaint town of Mandi, situated in Himachal Pradesh. The auspicious day will be marked on March 8 this year.

Due to the substantial presence of invited deities from 81 temples during the festival, Mandi town is referred to as the 'Varanasi of the Hills.'
