This small café, approximately 10 minutes walk from the main town, is a popular venue for art shows, exhibitions and sales of local handicrafts and music events. The Nathu La Pass along the Indo-China border can be seen well on clear days. The organisation was founded by Praveen Chettri, Navin Chettri, and Yawan Rai to promote Kalimpong's native culture, art, and crafts. Signature products on the menu include pizzas, smoothies, and true Darjeeling tea.

The café on a hillside near Kalimpong's Thana Dara Square was founded by local residents Pravesh Chhetri and Yachna Rizal. It encourages local artists and musicians and even sponsors several events and gigs. You can get a cup of coffee and a side of carrot cake (or one of their speciality pizzas) while drinking in the beauty of the mountains before you. The minimalist decor exudes an earthy vibe.

This one is perfect for bibliophiles, and the first (and perhaps only) book cafe in Kalimpong. You can pick up a book and settle down with a cup of your favourite brew.
