Andhra Pradesh's tourism board is all geared up to give a boost to water sports and adventure tourism. Activities such as parasailing, jeep parasailing, para-motoring, water skiing are already available in destinations like the Bhavani Islands of Vijayawada. Work is also underway to revamp some of popular beaches such as Rishikonda, Bheemili, Mangamaripeta and Thotlakonda. The state has also launched amphibious vehicles in Vijayawada and Rajahmundry and seaplane services in Vishakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Kakinada. The state is also going to introduce waterfall rappelling, rock climbing, high rope courses and zorbing in hill stations such as Horsley Hills, Puligundu and Talakona.
