About 130 of the world&rsquos best paragliders, including the top 5 in world ranking, from over 40 countries are expected to participate in the AAI Paragliding World Cup 2015 to be held in Bir Billing in Himachal Pradesh. The event will take place from October 23-31, 2015. The event is being organised by the Billing Paragliding Association. &ldquoThis is a huge shot in the arm for not only the sport of paragliding, but Himachal Pradesh as well and we are working hard to deliver a truly world-class event,&rdquo said Mr. Sudhir Sharma, Minister of Housing, Urban Development and Town & Country Planning, Government of Himachal Pradesh. During the week-long tournament, special programmes will be held in the evening. The organisers have promised gala opening and the closing ceremonies to mark the international event.
