When Outlook Traveller was published for the first time in 2001, Vinod Mehta, the founding editor, wrote to readers, setting the vision for a magazine where “the joy of travel is continuously explored.” Where “The sights, the smells, the colours, the sounds will be conveyed through design, photographs and production values of the highest international standards.”

On our 22nd anniversary, we dearly hold on to these words of wisdom. From exploring places from far and wide to rediscovering hidden gems nearby, we have committed ourselves to bringing you unique stories and, above all else, reliable information. But like any traveller, the journey and not the destination excites us the most. Though we have witnessed unforgettable vistas, marked many milestones, and been the first to set on untrodden paths, we are now on yet another journey—to continuously explore the joy of travel and make it possible for you.
