One such place is Asir, officially known as the Aseer Province, located in southern Saudi Arabia. It is often referred to as a "green oasis" due to its diverse landscape and abundant natural resources, including coastal plains and seasonal watercourses (wadis) that support lush vegetation. Things To See in Asir

Shada Palace

Shada Palace, located in the city of Abha in Saudi Arabia, was built in 1348 AH (1927 AD) and served as the heart of Abha for a significant period. The palace is notable for its unique rocky architectural style, which narrows as it rises to the upper levels. It showcases features of local architecture and has been restored and transformed into a museum consisting of four floors that display various old household items, agricultural tools, weapons, uniforms, as well as manuscripts and coins.

Shamsan Ottoman Castle

Timings: The Al-Qatt Al-Aseeri Museum (Fatimah Museum) is open daily from 11 AM to 8 PM, with the exception of Fridays when it opens at 3 PM. There are no tickets required for entry.
