Moreover, visiting on a Saturday can experience a local market where residents gather to sell their goods. Where To Eat

Where To Stay

Namche Bazaar provides a selection of well-known lodges that are favoured by trekkers in tour groups and can be booked in advance. However, it's important to note that much of the town shuts down during winter, so finding accommodation during the off-season can be challenging.

Some noteworthy options include Panorama Lodge, which boasts spacious rooms and a breathtaking view overlooking Namche Bazaar; Hotel Namche, a four-story building located in the town centre that comes with electric blankets and an outdoor terrace; and Hotel Everest View (also known as Everest View Hotel), which is known for its luxurious amenities, incredible mountain views, and panoramic vistas of Mt. Everest, albeit slightly uphill from Namche.

Getting There

Air: The nearest airport to Namche is in Lukla. A flight from Kathmandu to Lukla is the easiest way to reach the place.

Road: You can only trek from Lukla to Namche. Take a vehicle to Jiri or Phaplu from Kathmandu and trek to Lukla and onwards.
