The open safari vehicle came to a sudden halt, the vast, lush expanse of the Mara beckoning us. Lenny, the Maasai warrior leading the evening game drive, had an increasingly expanding frown as the seconds ticked by. Dileep, my co-passenger, was getting impatient.
