Maharashtra is one of the chosen few states in the country where the monsoons bring out the best of the landscape. Good thing then that the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (mtdcdors.maharashtratourism.gov.in) has come up with four tour packages right in time to catch the best of the monsoons this year. The packages offer attractive deals, with the lowest as little as Rs 1040 per person This includes transport, hotel stays, breakfast and dinner. Some of the destinations included in the packages are Lonavala, Bhandardara, Malshej and Nashik. All trips begin from Mumbai and are valid from the beginning of August to the end of September.
