You Can Now Book the McCallister House From the Home Alone Series This Christmas

December has officially begun and it&rsquos that time of the year again. Yes, you got that right, we&rsquore talking about hot cocoa, warm blankets, fuzzy stalkings, and of course Christmas movie marathons. And talking about Christmas movies, there is one we can&rsquot seem to ever forget &mdash the Home Alone series. And if you&rsquove always dreamed of staying in the McCallister home to experience the festival and the madness that comes with it in its truest sense, this year you have a chance. 

Fans can now book an overnight stay in the original Home Alone house while the McCallisters are away on their annual trip. This season four guests will get a chance to live their dream via Airbnb. Guests can book the house and relive the classic holiday movie without the pesky intruders of course. 

The property, located in Chicago, will be hosted by the elder brother Buzz McCallister. The move has been made following the release of Home Sweet home Alone this season. &ldquoYou may not remember me as particularly accommodating,&rdquo said Buzz, &ldquobut I&rsquove grown up, and I&rsquod be happy to share my family home &ndash my pizza, even &ndash with you this holiday season. Just try not to let my tarantula, Axl, loose this time,&rdquo he added.

And if that&rsquos not enough to convince you, then there&rsquos a few more more things that you can enjoy, such as a cosy holiday scene with twinkling lights and a perfectly trimmed tree in celebration of the season, booby traps galore (but don&rsquot worry &ndash you&rsquoll be setting them, not sidestepping them), all the &lsquo90s favourites their hearts desire, including plenty of Chicago&rsquos finest pizza and a candlelit dinner of microwavable Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, a meet and greet with a real-life tarantula, a viewing of the film franchise&rsquos newest holiday adventure, Home Sweet Home Alone and a LEGO Ideas Home Alone set to take and build at home.

Buzz will host a one night stay for four guests at the McCallister house on December 12 for only $25 (excluding tax and fees). In honour of the first-ever stay at the McCallister home, Airbnb will also make a one time donation to Chicago&rsquos La Rabida Children&rsquos Hospital. Bookings for the same can be requested beginning Tuesday, December 7 at 1pm CT at airbnb.com/homealone.
