Jageshwar, near Almora, will be hosting a yoga festival from November 5-6, 2015

Jageshwar, less than 40km from Almora, in the Kumaon hills of Uttarakhand, will host the Jageshwar Yog Festival from November 5-6, 2015. Encircled by deodar forests and with the Jataganga on one side, it is a picturesque corner tucked into the Himalayas. In this tranquil environment, watch the expert yoga practitioners, train with them and pick up tips for healthy living. The presiding deity of Jageshwar is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of the Hindu pantheon. There are over 100 temples dedicated to Shiva here.  From Delhi, Jageshwar is approx. 400km away (10 hours&rsquo drive).
