Planning a holiday with family or friends often means looking beyond traditional hotel rooms. Whether it is a spacious villa by the sea, a mountain home for a ski holiday or a secluded retreat for a long weekend, travellers are increasingly looking for stays that offer more room, privacy and flexibility. Recognising this growing interest in vacation rentals, Wyndham Rewards has launched Homes & Havens, a new platform that allows members to book professionally managed homes and villas while earning and redeeming loyalty points.

The new offering gives Wyndham Rewards' approximately 129 million members access to hundreds of distinctive stays across the world. Launched on November 2, 2026, Homes & Havens brings vacation rentals into the company's existing loyalty programme, offering travellers another way to make their holidays more rewarding.

Homes & Havens has launched with nearly 800 professionally managed vacation homes and villas across the United States, the Caribbean, Mexico and Europe. The collection includes a range of properties, from beachfront villas and stylish condominiums to mountain retreats and secluded holiday homes.

Travellers can choose from poolside stays in the Florida Keys, ski properties in the Rocky Mountains, coastal homes along the Carolinas and private villas in St Barts. There are also cliffside retreats overlooking the Mediterranean for those looking for a more scenic escape.

The properties cater to different kinds of holidays, whether it is a family reunion, a celebration with friends or a weekend away. Many offer private pools, expansive living spaces and scenic surroundings, making them an alternative to conventional hotel accommodation.

The collection is expected to grow in the coming months, with cabins, tiny homes and yurts among the accommodation types planned for addition.

Wyndham has partnered with independent property management and hospitality companies, including Brightwild, Simpson Travel, StayTerra and Thousand Trails, to bring the collection together.

How Members Can Earn And Redeem Points

One of the key features of Homes & Havens is that members can use their Wyndham Rewards membership to earn points on eligible vacation rental bookings.

Members earn five Wyndham Rewards points for every US dollar spent on qualified bookings. Qualified nights also count towards unlocking the next membership level, giving frequent travellers another way to progress through the programme.

Members can also redeem their accumulated points for eligible stays. Free night redemptions currently begin at 15,000 points per bedroom, per night, with additional redemption tiers at 30,000 and 45,000 points. A lower tier of 5,000 points is expected to be introduced as the collection expands.

However, there are a few conditions to keep in mind. Redemptions must be arranged through Wyndham Rewards Member Services at least 60 days before the intended stay. Points cover only the base accommodation rate, while taxes, cleaning fees, and other mandatory charges are payable separately. Not every property is eligible for points redemption, and the applicable points requirement depends on the nightly rate per bedroom.

Part of Wyndham's Expanding Rewards Programme

The launch of Homes & Havens is part of Wyndham Rewards' wider effort to offer members more ways to earn and use their points beyond traditional hotel stays.

The programme has also introduced Wyndham Rewards Insider, a travel subscription offering savings and benefits across flights, cruises and car rentals, alongside Wyndham Rewards Experiences, which gives members access to events across sports, music and festivals.

With Homes & Havens, Wyndham is looking to tap into the growing demand for holiday rentals while giving its members more accommodation choices under one loyalty programme.
