A glance at the latest travel news in India will quickly make one thing clear: Indians are travelling like never before. In the first quarter of 2024 alone, a staggering 97 million passengers passed through Indian airports. While domestic travel saw a significant uptick of 21 per cent in passenger traffic compared to 2019, international travel rose by four per cent.

Chances are if you’re reading this story, you have travelled somewhere recently or are planning a trip soon. At Outlook Traveller, we want to know how it went and how you felt in our newest section, #OTWanderInk.

#OTWanderInk is an open platform for anyone looking to share a memorable travel experience on the Outlook Traveller website. You don’t need to be a professional writer—we’re looking for fresh, personal voices and first-hand stories from travellers.

How Do I Get Published In #OTWanderInk?

#OTWanderInk is an open platform for anyone interested in writing for the Outlook Traveller website

Just a note upfront—#OTWanderInk is a community-driven space for storytelling, and at this time, we’re not offering payment for submissions. We hope that the joy of seeing your travel story published and connecting with a wide audience of fellow travellers will make it a fulfilling experience.

Here are a few things you should keep in mind before sending us your story:

  • The word count should be between 700 and 900 words.

  • Attach four-five horizontal photos from your trip, including at least one picture of yourself. Make sure to include brief captions for each image.

  • Email your story to wander.ink@outlookindia.com.
