This winter, Goa Tourism, in association with Southern River Adventures, brings thrill­ing white water rafting  to the Tilari river gorge. The jungle setting about 90mins out of North Goa, where the rafting run begins, is breathtaking. The adventure begins with a warm-up over a section of easy rapids before the grand climax in a deep gorge (Rs 2,250 per person till January 2015, subject to dam releases up to three hours including pick-up and drop back 6km of Class 4 rapids two trips a day, at 10am and 2.30pm)
