Another weekend is here but the buzz of activities in Mumbai is just as loud. Whether it’s the debut performance of “The Phantom of the Opera,” a comedy evening, or a seafood experience at Opus, there are plenty of events to keep you busy in the Maximum City.
If you’re interested in last-minute festive getaways, we recommend checking out this comprehensive list. But if you're staying back, keep scrolling for the top things to do in Mumbai from March 15-16, 2025.
Based on Gaston Leroux’s 1910 novel, “The Phantom of the Opera” theatrical performance tells the story of a mysterious masked figure who lurks beneath the Paris Opera House, exercising a reign of terror over those who inhabit it. He falls madly in love with a young soprano, Christine Daae, and devotes himself to nurturing her extraordinary talents, employing all the devious methods at his command.
Said to be the most breathtaking love story on stage, “The Phantom of the Opera” is famous for being the longest-running musical on Broadway until its closure in 2023. The stage production makes its debut in Mumbai, marking a historic moment in the country’s romance with bucket-list international experiences.
