A dinosaur theme park in central Gujarat's Rahioli village, which has come to represent a virtual hatchery of fossilised dinosaur eggs, would make you feel the promise was made in the Jurassic Age. Dinosaur size models of the types of dinosaurs which roamed in this party of the country, put up at the sprawling rocky fossil site, are the star of the project. Since Rahioli is only a village and there is no tourist infrastructure there or around, necessary facilities like electronic guides where the tourist just has to plug in to get relevant information, has been put up. Gujarat also has a small orientation centre in the Geer Park in State capital Gandhinagar, while at Rahioli there is a barbed wire fence with a few cops standing guard in the wake of complaints of thefts of the fossilised eggs. The road that leads there at present is a dusty dirt track near Balasinore town of Kheda district.
