If you&rsquore an adventure junkie at heart and are seeking to start your year on a thrilling and memorable note, then Uttarakhand is calling you.

Hit up Almora as the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB) and Almora administration have decided to welcome all adventure lovers for its Marchula Adventure Meet 2021.

The event, to be held from January 8 to January 12, will see tourists and adventure enthusiasts participate in activities such as bungee jumping, paragliding, mountain biking, hiking, river crossing, water roller, zorbing, air balloon ride, rock climbing, and many more.

Almora in Uttarakhand has always attracted tourists for its weather, views and games. However, with the pandemic affecting tourism opportunities and businesses in the region, this serene hill station in the foothills of the Himalayas did not receive any tourists last year.

Taking into consideration all the required safety protocols, this five-day adventure meet will not only allow travellers to participate in its famous winter adventure games but also offer them an opportunity to learn about local pahadi art and food at its special Marchula Haat.
