Uttarakhand Dehradun Community Literature Festival

Go now for the second edition of this vibrant literature festival

Another city, another book and another story. From April 19-22, Dehradun will come alive with writers and books as literary stalwarts come together at the second edition of the Dehradun Community Literature Festival. Authors expected to be here are Devdutt Pattanaik, Nayantara Sahgal, Karan Johar, Kavita Kane, Jatin Das, Sudha Menon, Arundhathi Subramaniam, A. N. D. Haksar, Dr Rakhshanda Jalil, Jaithirth (Jerry) Rao, Nandita Haksar and Santhini Govindan among many others. There will be interesting sessions by Sonali Bendre, Hindol Sengupta, Durjoy Dutta, Gurcharan Das and others.

Hosted by WIC India, the festival is expected to seeover 12,000 visitors. And people will get a chance to interact with authors and see artistic performances. Nazia Y Izuddin, President WIC India, Dehradun and Founder, Dehradun Community Literature Festival says, With this edition, the winds, the spring, the trees and the flowers of Dehradun valley will become one with the world of global literature, and we hope that this will establish Dehradun as a leader and key agent of change in leading the modern literary world.
