US Issues Turkey Travel Advisory

The US government is strongly advising its citizens to refrain from travelling to Turkey

In light of the recent terrorist attacks in Turkey, the United States has issued a travel advisory to its citizens against travelling to the country. The advisory states that due to the recent attacks, as well as the state of emergency within Turkey, travellers are strongly advised to review their personal security plans as well as communications connectivity. Additionally, US citizens have been asked to stay away from cities and destinations near the Turkey-Syria border in the southeast of the country and also stay away from major tourist destinations, especially crowded areas.
