Now you have another reason to visit Goa, as the city is hosting The New Wave Musicfest. This music fest in Goa will see Asian indie and punk music along with bands and performers from countries like Myanmar, Japan, Nepal, Malaysia and many more. One of the three stages will see performances by electro-pop artistes and singer-songwriters. The other two stages will have all kinds of music genres from hip hop, hardcore, alt rock, punk rock, indie and folk fusion.

Participating bands are Kyoto Protocol, a Malaysian rock band, Rebel Riot from Myanmar, Little Fox from Thailand and Squirt Guns from Nepal, Shonen Knife, an all-girl pop punk band from Japan and other artistes like The Supersonics, Elvis Lobo Project- The Goa Sound and The Ganesh Talkies.
