Hear ye, all you art lovers. There is an ongoing exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum, New York City, showcasing for the first time in the US, Frida Kahlo's personal objects from her lifelong home Blue House

On display are objects like the artist's clothing, jewelry, cosmetics, letters, ten important paintings, drawings and photographs. If Kahlo is one of the best artists you follow then now is the time when you can finally get a glimpse of her life. Also included are related historical film, ephemera among many other items from the museum's collection of Mesoamerican art. The exhibition is titled 'Appearances Can Be Deceiving', organised in collaboration with the Banco de México Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo Museums Trust, and The Jacques and Natasha Gelman Collection of 20th Century Mexican Art and The Vergel Foundation.
You will get a chance to look at (and admire) the artist's iconic works such as Self-Portrait with Necklace (1933), SelfPortrait with Braid (1941), and Self-Portrait as a Tehuana, Diego on My Mind (1943).

Frida Kahlo Appearances Can Be Deceiving exhibition will be on view seven days a week but on Mondays and Tuesdays, only the first floor galleries will be open for viewing.
