Back to the Big Screen in Delhi

Did you know you could go for a drive-in movie screening organised by the Sunset Cinema Club in the National Capital Region

While movie halls, shut since the pandemic containment lockdown was announced in March end, have not been permitted to open yet, movie buffs in the National Capital Region can take heart from the news that the Sunset Cinema Club is hosting drive-in screenings at the Backyard Sports Club (SCC Backyard) in Gurgaon.

You can watch the movie on big screen while the sound will be streamed directly to your vehicle via radio.

The movies are being screened over the weekends in the evening (starting at 7.30pm).

According to the website, movies scheduled over the next couple of weekends include La La Land (Aug 22), Jab We Met (Aug 23), Pyaar Ka Panchnama (Aug 29), and Hera Pheri (Aug 30).

You have to purchase your tickets online with per car ticket admitting up to four people.

There are many rules and regulations in place temperature checks are mandatory at the entry gate no one will be allowed to alight from cars except for using restrooms and it's mandatory to wear masks unless you are inside your vehicle. 

The venue will not serve any food and beverage but you may carry your own.
