Now Fly Non-Stop to London from Delhi and Mumbai with SpiceJet

SpiceJet just became India&rsquos first low-cost airlines to operate direct flights to London from Delhi and Mumbai. The airline will offer the flights under India&rsquos travel bubble agreements with the UK. It will fly thrice a week to London, twice from Delhi and once from Mumbai. The flight operations will begin from December 4.

This is the airline's tenth international destination.

SpiceJet will use Airbus A330-900 Neo aircrafts for these flights. It is a huge twin-aisle aircraft with a configuration of 353 economy and 18 business class seats.

The airline has launched the new service with a 'promotional return fare' of Rs 53,555 on both the Delhi-London and Mumbai-London routes. The one-way starting fare will be Rs 25,555 on Delhi-London and Mumbai-London routes, and Rs 29,555 on London-Delhi and London-Mumbai routes.

SpiceJet had initially secured slots at Heathrow from September 1 to October 23, 2020 but they were later extended for the entire winter schedule.

This is a huge step towards not only strengthening the travel bubble agreement but also connecting some of the busiest metros in the world with low cost flights.

The announcement comes less than two months after Vistara launched its maiden flight to London. The two airlines, along with state carrier Air India, continue to operate charter flights to the UK.
