Following the cancellation of over 1800 flights announced last month by SpiceJet, the airline has further postponed the recommencement of over 300 of its flights till January 31.
In the mean time, AAI (Airports Authority of India) has probably put the struggling airline on the pre-payment mode since yesterday midnight as the earlier deadline of the two-week credit window ended on January 21. The cancelled flights mostly include domestic flights and a few connecting Nepal and Afghanistan.
The airline has offered modification of travel dates at no additional costs to the affected travellers on its website.
