Souvenir Happy in Hanboks

A cute little Korean fridge magnet that makes you go all warm inside

Author : Ambica Gulati

Vibrant colours, smiling faces, the childlike couple dressed in hanboks make me smile every time I look at them hugging on my fridge. And I go back to the streets of Seoul once again. White-haired ones in their traditional dresses or hanboks mingle with the young ones dressed in modern attire.

I relive my walk with fellow journalists and figuring out the way to dress like the pretty and petite Koreans. Hanboks are now mostly worn on festive occasions or by those living in rural areas. And this fridge magnet keeps reminding me that theres good energy around.
