Singapore's Changi Airport Launches Free Sentosa Island Tour For Transit Passengers

Starting 1 August 2025, transit passengers at Singapore’s Changi Airport can step beyond the terminal and into island life—completely free of charge. The newly launched Free Singapore Tour: Sentosa Edition offers travellers with layovers of at least 5.5 hours a chance to explore one of the country’s most iconic destinations. This 2.5-hour experience is designed as a quick yet enriching escape to Sentosa, Singapore’s island of sun, sea, and surprises.

About The Tour

The Sentosa Discovery Tour is a 2.5-hour guided experience designed to give transit passengers a taste of one of Singapore’s most dynamic island getaways. Once a British military outpost, Sentosa has evolved into a lively destination where nature, heritage, and entertainment come together. The tour begins with sweeping views of the southern coastline before moving through some of the island’s signature attractions.

One of the standout stops is Sentosa Sensoryscape—a newly opened 350-metre immersive walkway connecting Resorts World Sentosa to the beach. Here, visitors can stroll through six interactive sensory gardens, featuring floral projections, ambient soundscapes, and artfully illuminated greenery that bring the island’s tropical charm to life.

During the tour from Changi Airport, you’ll also make a stop at Resorts World Sentosa—one of Singapore’s premier leisure destinations. It’s home to major attractions like Universal Studios Singapore, Adventure Cove Waterpark, and the Singapore Oceanarium.
