Bangkok is where you go to have a good time. There are decent massages at every street corner, the entertainment at bars is clean and above-board and the food is sinless. And then there is the shopping. Every road, street and alley in Bangkok resembles Kolkata's Gariahat Road on the day before the Pujas. Traders peddling everything from pirated DVDs to Louis Vuitton rip-offs command every inch of available space. It is difficult not to be tempted, and there are many rich moments of epiphany, when you spot something you didn't know how badly you needed until you laid eyes on it. So this is what I got back from the City of Angels &mdash a Ceramic Hugging Kissing Couple Salt and Pepper Shaker set. At 50 baht, it was also a bargain.
