Enjoy the world--s largest free nautical event from August 19-23, 2015

Said to be the world&rsquos largest free nautical event, SAIL Amsterdam takes place once every five years. During the festival, to be held from August 19-23, 2015, nearly 600 ships will navigate along Amsterdam&rsquos North Sea Canal before mooring around the IJ-haven. The North Sea Canal is a Dutch ship canal built between 1865 and 1876. This year the festival will comprise a flotilla of Tall Ships, maritime heritage, naval ships and impressive replicas. There will be a range of nautical activities, concerts and an opportunity to visit the ships.
