Do you find it difficult to manage your daily fix of south Indian filter &lsquokaapi&rsquo while travelling Then there is a chance that in the near future you will be able to carry your favourite brew in a handy pack of pills.

Having coffee on the go couldn&rsquot be easier than this if the innovative idea from four students from Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Ernakulam, Kerala, turns into reality.

Dimple V, Elisha Aenorie, Sivanandana KB and Sowndaryaa Lakshmi V, participants at the TiE Global Student Pitch Competition, came up with an innovative idea which got them the Popular Choice Award &ndash coffee in a capsule. Calling themselves Team Kaapiphle, they were representing TiE Kerala at the Global Finals of TYE Program (TiE Young Entrepreneurs) reached Top 8 position, and won the 'Popular Choice Award' globally.

The &lsquoCoffee in a Capsule&rsquo idea is essentially that of a capsule containing compressed filter coffee. The covering of the pill was derived from cassava, to make the product organic and eco-friendly.

Media reports quoted the girls as saying that they will explore the innovative idea as a business opportunity after they finish their schooling.
