Ramakrishna Mission, a non-political, non-sectarian spiritual organisation, is well-known throughout the world for its various philanthropic activities. It is named after the Hindu spiritual leader and mystic Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Deva and is headquartered at Belur Math, West Bengal. The Ramakrishna Mission branch in Delhi, which first opened its doors in 1927, is now in its 96th year. For the first time this year, it will celebrate Durga Puja with idol worship.
