Qatar Airways has introduced a new Business Class menu created in collaboration with Garima Arora, the two-Michelin-star Indian chef behind the Bangkok restaurant Gaa. Launched on November 15, 2025, the menu is now available on flights from Doha to India and is rooted in an all-vegetarian, Ayurvedic-inspired philosophy. It will be refreshed every three months, with plans to extend it to the airline’s US routes in the next phase.

Garima Arora’s Culinary Philosophy At 30,000 Feet

Arora, who became the first Indian woman to earn a Michelin star in 2018 and later the first to lead a two-star kitchen, brings her modern Indian sensibility to the inflight experience. Her cooking relies heavily on regional inspiration, traditional methods and ingredient-led balance, making it well suited for high-altitude dining.

Qatar Airways notes that the collaboration reflects its intention to refine the Business Class dining experience and align it more closely with the tastes of passengers travelling between Doha and India. Arora describes the partnership as an opportunity to rethink how Indian flavours can be presented onboard while maintaining the comfort and rootedness of the cuisine.

The menu opens with a chaat-inspired starter combining berry sorbet, dal dumplings, sweet yoghurt and a pomegranate drizzle. The main course is Arora’s reinterpretation of her grandmother’s millet khichdi, created as a light and easily digestible Ayurvedic meal. It is served with homemade pickles, condiments and warm shorba. Dessert comes in the form of a masala chai mousse, paired with dipped Parle-G biscuits and raspberries filled with candied ginger.

Qatar Airways’ Ongoing Recognition

Qatar Airways continues to underline its position in global aviation, having received multiple Skytrax accolades, including the ‘World’s Best Airline’ title in 2025. The airline currently connects travellers to more than 170 destinations worldwide through Hamad International Airport.
