Whether you are flying the kites or simply watching the colourful display against the blue sky as experts fly them, it is going to be fun. Organized by the Pondicherry Tourism Department, the Puducherry International Kite Festival will be held from September 4-6, 2015. Besides the kite flying competition, there will be kite exhibitions, a kite making workshop for kids above 9 years of age, poem writing on kites and a Rangoli contest.
