The state issued the new guideline of a mandatory negative report (or vaccination certificate) on April 9 due to the rising number of coronavirus cases.
You will now have to produce either a negative RT-PCR test report not older than 72 hours or a final vaccination certificate, after two doses of vaccination.
This applies on all modes of travel - train, bus, airplane, waterways or private vehicles.
Anyone not carrying these will have to undergo seven days of mandatory institutional or home quarantine - with effect from April 12.
All public transport from Odisha to Chhattisgarh and vice versa has been suspended from April 10 to 30.
On April 8, Odisha had 879 new cases. According to state health authorities, this is the highest single-day increase in 2021.
