Be sure to head to Bhubaneshwar in June for the 4th Kalinga Literary Festival

The global literati will be assembling at the fourth edition of the Kalinga Literary Festival (KLF) at Bhubaneswar this summer. The festival will be held from June 10-12, 2017. The theme being Literature in Peace and Harmony, over 200 national and international speakers are expected at this confluence. What can be expected Branding of Odiya literature beyond classical status, Indian films and the grassroots reality, transformative dalit literature and the launch of 20 new books. There are additions such as a special session titled Mystic Kalinga for poets, art exhibitions by international artists and literary awards. These include the Kalinga International Literary Award, Kalinga Literary Youth Award and the Kalinga Karubaki Award.

It will be inaugurated by the Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar will be the keynote speaker. Eminent writer and poet Dr Kedarnath Singh and writer Namita Gokhale will also give keynote addresses.
