North East Festival in New Delhi

Try authentic northeastern food, watch traditional performances and rock shows, and take part in literary discussions at this second edition of NE Festival from November 7

The four-day North East Festival at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Janpath, New Delhi, will showcase the cultural heritage of the northeastern states. The schedule of the event has activities such as literary discussions with presentation of case studies on important issues regarding the region seminars on northeastern culture traditional tribal dances and rock music performances and authentic food stalls. The audience will have a chance to talk to stars from the region such as Mary Kom, Bhaichung Bhutia, Ratan Thiyam, Adil Hussain and Zubin Garg. There is also a fashion show to display the rich textiles of the Northeast, through garments created by top designers from the region.
