VFS Global, the outsourcing and technology services specialist for governments and diplomatic missions worldwide, has opened a new visa application centre in New Delhi. This new centre is the largest Joint Visa Application Centre in South Asia. The new centre is located at the Mezzanine Level of Shivaji Stadium Metro Station. This centre will serve 31 client governments, including Australia, Belgium, Estonia and others. It has 153 counters with capability to process over 12,000 applications per day, multiple bio-metric booths with plug-and-play capability for faster turnaround times, etc. As a part of its efforts to provide hassle-free services, the centre has also included a waiting area. Currently, VFS Global, through its 1,862 application centres, is serving 48 client governments in 124 countries.
