A Museum of Ice Cream where you can Taste Everything Yes Please

Ahoy ice-cream lovers, here&rsquos another one to add to your bucketlist of places to visit. Giant sprinkle pool, a dragon playground and ice cream related installations - these will all feature in the Museum of Ice Cream which is set to open in Singapore this August. 

This will be the very first time that the popular US-based tourist attraction is venturing abroad. The Singapore museum will be spread over 60,000 sq ft and will feature 14 brand new multi-sensory ice cream installations. Guided by MOIC performers, guests will get to enjoy a variety of ice cream treats as they stroll through the 60-to-90-minute tour. It will also feature a pink and yellow jungle with 10,000 bananas, a Singapore-inspired fully functional dragon playground, and a gigantic pool of sprinkles crafted from antimicrobial biodegradable material.

Advance tickets to visit the MOIC in August can be pre-reserved from April 12 onwards on the museum's official website. The pricing starts from $38 per person with considerable discounts for couples and groups of more than four. The museum will open from 10 am to 9 pm daily and Tuesdays will be their weekly off.

"Museum of Ice Cream is for the kid in all of us, and in a time when every little dose of positivity is needed, we hope to uplift spirits, and bring people together to make the world a happier place, one ice cream at a time," said co-founder and creative director Maryellis Bunn.  

Keith Tan, Chief Executive of Singapore Tourism Board, said that the opening of such innovative attractions adds vibrancy to the city and underscores the tourism industry&rsquos confidence in Singapore&rsquos continuing appeal as a top travel destination. He further added that the museum will abide by timely sanitisation and hygiene, social distancing, and logistical guidelines that will keep visitors safe.

Along with the museum, another treat awaits the citizens of Singapore this year. They will also get to experience the tallest thrill ride in Asia. Shooting the riders 70m in the air at a speed of 160kmh, a slingshot ride is all set to open halfway through the year in Clarke Quay.
