Unless you have been living under a rock, you would know all about the biggest protest this country has seen in decades - the farmers protests.

The place is evolving continuously - with tent cities coming up, soul-stirring renditions of Sufi songs, langars and what not. One of the things that has caught our attention is the mobile museum that has come up displaying the history and culture of Sikhism.

For two months, protesting farmers and their families have been fighting tooth and nail for their rights. Keeping in mind that there are senior citizens and children, the area has now been developed as a small town with langars, laundry stores and libraries. The most recent attraction is the establishment of the museum.

Mohali resident Parwinder Singh is the founder. He had set up a museum at Balongi in Mohali district. The one at Singhu is a mini version. &ldquoOur history is full of courage and martyrdom. I have come here with some statues to make youths aware about the Sikh heritage,&rdquo says Singh.

The museum has statues of Bhai Mati Das, Baba Deep Singh, Bhai Sati Das and four Sahibzadas. He has has 70 statues in Balongi and says his aim is to establish a museum on the lines of Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in London. "I have been trying to do my best from my limited source of income."
