Good news for all those who regularly travel from Mumbai to Hyderabad. In a few years, the 711km distance could be covered in less than three and a half hours once the upcoming bullet train service is ready.

Currently it takes more than 10 hours via train from Mumbai to reach Hyderabad and vice versa. The average speed of the bullet train is 320 km/hour while a normal trains goes at 80 km/hour.

The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited has already issued a tender for the preparation of the detailed project report for the Mumbai-Pune-Hyderabad bullet train project. Other than this, seven other bullet train projects are underway.
