The Gungudyacho waterfall trek is one of the easiest in Goa--s Chorla Ghats

Goa Tourism Development Corporation is organising a monsoon trek to the Gungudyacho waterfall on September 6, 2015. The 6-km round trail is said to be one of the easiest treks in the Chorla Ghats of Goa. As you go near the waterfall, you will hear a tinkling sound which gives the waterfall its name &ldquoGungudyacho&rdquo. Transport arrangements have been made from Mapusa and Margao at 8am and from Panaji&rsquos Paryatan Bhavan at 9am. The registration fee of Rs 700 per head includes food (vegetarian). Carry along an extra pair of clothes, rainwear, snacks and drinking water, and binoculars.
