The Maand Festival, held during the full moon day in autumn, is a tribute to the war-heroes of Rajasthan when the region was dominated by many royal families. Folk artists, through their singing and dancing, talk about the romantic lifestyles of the erstwhile royal families, and the battles and the brave warriors. It is the major attraction of the Marwar Festival. Other attractions include camel shows and polo. The events are organised in the Umaid Bhawan Palace, in Mandore and at the Mehrangarh Fort.
